A Comprehensive Guide to SAT Scores for College Applications

Scholastic Assessment Test (SAT) is a recognized test for college admissions in the United States. Formerly known as Scholastic Aptitude Test, this exam is administered by the college board to allow high school students to apply to renowned colleges.

Besides American and other international universities, 35 Indian universities consider SAT scores for admission in their courses.

I realised the many benefits of taking the SAT while preparing for it. It improved my English reading, writing and speaking skills immensely. My numerical ability and general knowledge, especially in history and social science, were greatly enhanced too.

Scoring the required marks on SAT also helped me prove my skills and abilities and show college readiness to the faculty. However, it is important to note that scoring well on SAT alone will not ensure college admission; it also depends on your course rigour and recommendations.
